The Ipsy Creator Party is by far one of the best networking events I attend as a fashion and beauty blogger. This party is by invite only and for those that create videos on YouTube. It was hosted inside the Terra Gallery venue. It happens the night before Generation Beauty happens, in order for all the creators to connect with one another and just become friends through a couple of drinks. LOL
If you don’t know what Generation Beauty is….well it’s an event open to the public but the tickets cost over $150. It’s perfect for beauty lovers or anyone who just wants to meet their favorite YouTuber.

Anyways at the party it was really easy to talk to the bigger YouTubers and I didn’t feel excluded by anyone. It was definitely an experience to treasure. This Ipsy creator party was hosted by Michelle Phan and I finally got to meet her. I had a major fan girl moment but my inner journalist told me to not act like a crazy fan and just approach her with a HEY, how are you. After talking for a few minutes, she asked me if I wanted to take a picture……but that’s what I wanted to do the whole time. I just didn’t want to come across as the “fan girl”.
The thing about me is that I’m very professional and treat every opportunity as a possible business opportunity. Imagine if I went crazy and further down the road, I have the pleasure to work together….I would be remembered as the crazy psycho girl at the creator party.

So after the party was over, I had a train booked for another event. In case you were wondering towards the middle of the vlog why I went to another event and not Gen Beauty. I went to StyleCon and that event was held in Costa Mesa, CA. I was invited on behalf of Sleek Hair and got to meet different beauty and fashion brands. It was a busy and crazy weekend.
